Hello and welcome!

I have 3 years of experience teaching high school math and have taught the full curriculum of Pre-Algebra, Algebra Readiness, Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2 (Advanced Algebra). Over the years, I have learned that I most prefer to tutor students who struggle, as they are the most rewarding to work with because I KNOW they can be successful if they put in the effort.

I will work with your student understanding what they are going over in their class, including homework. I will not do their homework for them. However, we will work together on problems of various difficulties so that they will feel capable of finishing the homework on their own. We will also work together on creating study guides and/or reviewing for upcoming quizzes and tests.

Sessions are generally an hour long. If extra time is needed for your student to grasp the material, and your student is willing to put in some extra time, so am I. Two sessions per week is generally recommended.

I like to be prepared for tutoring sessions, so I am only looking to tutor 2-3 students maximum so that I am able to give better personal attention to each student and the material that they are learning.
